CBT, NET, NLP, Hypnosis?
Don’t let the letters confuse you. All of these techniques fit under the umbrella of Systems Therapy. In other words I view all of my clients as members of a variety of interacting relational systems, such as family, marital, work, church, neighborhood, cultural, and other communities that are important to you.
This philosophy, or theoretical orientation allows me to choose techniques that are tailored specifically for you. One size doesn’t fit all does it?
Among the techniques I favor are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Ericksonian Hypnosis and Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET). I find these approaches to be elegant in that they are not intrusive, brief, and part of a trusting relationship between client and therapist.
